Blueberry Products & Services

   

OVS serves the blueberry industry in a variety of ways, with training, education, research, Ag Supplies & Chemicals, and Tractors & Equipment. Growers may want to ensure they are receiving the OVS quarterly Berries Newsletter or the monthly OVS Outlook and review the OVS Conventional Blueberry Spray Program or Organic Blueberry Spray Program.

In 2006, there were 4,400 acres of harvested blueberries, for a total value of $53 million. Blackberries ranked 17th, blueberries 14th and raspberries 31st in the top 40 commodities in Oregon in 2005 (http://oregon.gov/ODA/docs/pdf/pubs/ff.pdf).

OVS has a full-service Service & Repair shop and Parts department in both the Aurora and McMinnville locations.  Mobile service can also bring a trained technician out to the farm site.  The highly trained technicians can work on most makes and models of equipment. OVS carries a large inventory of parts, so we’ll likely have in stock what you need, when you need it!
