Soil and Plant Nutrition liquid blending
facility
(read
the Capital Press &
News-Register articles).
We can provide the proper nutrition for
all of your cropping needs. With the
assistance of our experienced crop
consultants we can provide you with the
most efficient nutrition program.
The blending facility is equipped with a
3 million BTU water heater which gives
us the capability of blending a wide
variety of products that can not be done
with cold mixing. We have the ability to
melt products such as Urea, Potassium
Chloride, Sulfate of Potash, Ammonium
Sulfate, Potassium Nitrate, Phosphate,
plus a wide variety of other Macro and
Micro Nutrients.
OVS is committed to finding the "best
fit" recommendation for your needs,
which includes integrating organic acids
to enhance nutrient utilization. We
continually strive to provide products
with the highest nutrient efficiency
available. These nutrient solutions are
produced in-house utilizing heat and our
blending capabilities for consistently
high quality products.
This new facility is equipped with a
variety of tanks and bladders totaling
over 170,000 gallons of bulk storage.
OVS now has the ability to bring raw
materials in by bulk truck or rail car.
We can then take these bulk materials
and blend them to your specific needs in
one of our blending tanks equipped with
NTEP approved weighing systems. The
facility is equipped with a 2500 gallon
stainless steel blender, and a 2500
gallon organic acid mixer. We have the
ability to blend any volume you may
need, whether it's a full semi-load, a
mini-bulk shuttle or as little as a 5
gallon bucket.
By combining the knowledge of our
agronomy staff, the use of reliable
testing labs, proper soil sampling
protocols and leaf sampling, OVS can
custom tailor a nutrition program to
meet the specific requirements of your
crop and soil. These tailored
recommendations will meet the demands of
each crop by balancing the elements in
your soil, promoting healthy soil
biology and, at the same time,
optimizing your crop input dollars.
