We are a respected and integrous business focused on enhancing the economic viability and the quality of PNW ag specialty producers, while providing a rewarding work environment for our associates, and an attractive ROI for the owners.

OVS/RP Culture (How we do things around here)

This is a living, working, and evolving document intended to provide guidance to our associates on a day-to-day basis…and to facilitate understanding of OVS/RP by others.

1. We operate to a high standard of integrity and ethics (when in doubt, do what feels “right”).

2. We demonstrate a high level of respect for the individual (associate, manager, customer, vendor, etc.). We have associates who work with us…not employees that work for us.

3. We sell solutions; not just supplies and equipment. 

4. We value the family as well as our work life, and consciously strive to balance our responsibility to each.

5. The customer comes first…she is the reason for our existence, the key to achieve all other objectives.

6. We grow at an average rate of 10-15%/year in earnings per share, thus insuring internal opportunities for growth, and attractive stock value appreciation.

7. We operate based on spiritual principles (i.e. every interaction with others is “win-win”, applying the Golden Rule, and returning a portion of our gains to our source).

8. Openness, “straight talk” and honesty are encouraged and rewarded…areas of disagreement and conflict are discussed openly and resolved amicably.

9. As a result of our hiring, compensation and communication policies, our associates are largely self (and peer) managed at the operating level (thus freeing our “managers” to focus on enhancing the level and quality of customer service & support).

10. We are, and are perceived as, a very professional organization (disciplined, effective, neat/clean appearance of facilities and individuals, active in professional organizations, etc.).

11. We offer competitive salary and benefits, coupled with attractive incentive compensation (in form of profit sharing and stock ownership) which enables us to attract and retain the “cream of the crop” in each job classification.

12. We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

13. We work as a team to reach goals, and strive for broad input and discussion in our decision making process.

14. We believe that attitude is everything, and are committed to maintaining a positive attitude.
